Full Page OCR Capture
While Zonal OCR is confined to translations of specific areas, Full Page OCR allows software to read the entire document and place an additional text layer above the newly transformed PDF document. This additional text layer in Full Page OCR allows the content of a document to be searched inside the Alfresco Document Management System (DMS) and is best for documents such as reports or contracts in which the most meaningful words and phrases are dispersed throughout the page.
